Guided fishing and instruction 
 
When not tying flies, I’m usually fishing, and I look forward to seeing you on the water. Why not buy your partner some lessons or a guided trip for that special birthday?

 

I offer:  

·    River craft lessons;

·    Small still water fishery lessons in the South of Engand;   

·     Large reservoir bank fishing lessons at Bewl, Grafham or Farmoor;   

·     Fully guided trout or grayling trips on chalk streams in the South of England;

·     Fully guided reservoir trips to any of the major waters; and

·     Corporate days.    

 

 

The list below describes the packages on offer and the prices, but please don’t hesitate to contact me if there’s something different you would rather do.

River craft lessons

Small stillwater fishery lessons

 

For up to three anglers.  Includes:

  • Guidance on casting, fishing techniques, fish location, fly choice;
  • All fishing tackle, if required; and
  • Packed lunch and soft drinks.

£25 per hour, £80 half day (4 hours) or £150 full day (8 hours).

 

 

Large reservoir bank or boat fishing lessons at Bewl, Grafham or Farmoor  

 

Full or half day trips including:

  • Guidance on casting, fishing techniques, fish location, fly choice;
  • Cost of boat hire and fishing permit;
  • Packed lunch and soft drinks; and
  • Use of rods, reels and flies if required.

 

Half day trips are a minimum of 4 hours fishing time, full days a minimum of 8 hours.

Fully guided chalkstream trips

 

I can arrange fishing on some of England's beautiful chalkstreams through various landowners and companies.

 

Includes:

  • Guidance on casting, fishing techniques, fish location, fly choice;
  • Use of rods, reels and flies if required; and 
  • Packed lunch and soft drinks.

 

Does not include fishing costs - contact me for details of locations and costs.

 

£100 for a full day. 

 

Transport from Central London to the fishery can also be arranged. Prices on request.

 

 

Corporate days

 

I can also arrange a day's fishing to entertain and impress clients.  I offer the full package including:

  • Venue selection and catering;
  • Guidance on casting, fishing techniques, fish location, 
       fly choice; and
  • Use of rods, reels and flies, if required.

 

Total beginners are as welcome as experienced anglers.

 

I also offer instruction or demonstrations of fly tying.

 

 

Gratuities are at the angler's discretion.

  

ALL ANGLERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PURCHASING THE APPROPRIATE NATIONAL ROD LICENCE
